HHG-Drama Club presents: “Taming of the Shrew”
Over the last couple of months the HHG Drama club has been preparing a play which we are excited to present to you. It is our rendition of William Shakespeare’s “Taming of the shrew”.
The play takes place in Padua, an ancient Italian village. Baptista Minola, a wealthy man, tries to find suitable partners for his two daughters Bianca and Katherina. However, before lovely Bianca gets to find her match among her multiple suitors, her elder sister, shrewd Katherina, has to be married first. To get hands on Bianca, her suitors come up with a very extraordinary idea...

Der HHG-Drama Club präsentiert „Taming of the Shrew“
Über die letzten Monate hinweg hat der Drama Club unserer Schule William Shakespeares Theaterstück „Taming of the Shrew“ neu inszeniert.
Das besagte Stück findet in Padua statt, eine antike Stadt in Italien und handelt von einem Vater, Baptista Minola, welcher versucht seine zwei Töchter Bianca und Katherina zu verheiraten. Bianca ist ein wunderschönes Mädchen, begehrt von zahlreichen Männern. Katherina hingegen wird widerspenstig beschrieben. Da sie die ältere ist, muss sie vor ihrer Schwester einen Mann finden. Biancass Verehrer klügeln einen Plan aus, wie sie das Problem lösen könnten...
Um herauszufinden, was Biancas Verehrer planen und wie es weitergeht, komme uns doch besuchen.
